Nero City Cyberpunk Dysutopia

Immortal Abyss

Level Design created using Unreal Engine 4. The centerpiece for this scene is the alleyway tucked in between two towering buildings. A major element to my design choices is emissive material used on the windows, this adds depth and a sense of scale even in the dark shadow areas. The use of wires, ivy and several props also combine to recreate a sense of inhabitated space.

Another interesting element I’ve added to the scene is the wind particle effects. It’s subtle but notice how leaves and peices of paper are picked up by the wind and blown out of the alleyway. In real life air currents are more likely to flow through tight spaces with greater intensity and out into the open.
