Description
A Home Demon clay relief, handmade in silver with subtle purple glitter particles that catch and shift under light, depicting a wide-grinning demon framed within the architectural detail of a traditional interior.
The figure sits central and low in the composition, surrounded by carved room elements, columns, shelving and structural framing pressed into the clay around it, the demon occupying the space like an uninvited resident. The silver metallic finish has a crystal-like quality that photographs cooler than it reads in person, the purple shimmer only visible under direct light. At 20x20cm it displays well on a shelf or ledge without requiring fixings.
In Japanese folklore, household spirits and demons occupy the domestic spaces between walls and beneath floors, uninvited but not always unwelcome. This piece places that presence front and centre.
An original handmade clay sculpture, one of a kind, 20x20cm.
Material: Air-dry clay, sealed with Liquitex Matte Medium Dimensions: 20 x 20 x 1cm Care: Keep dry. Avoid direct sunlight and temperature extremes. Decorative only. Note: this is an early prototype piece with a thinner profile than later works — handle with care.
