Description
A Metro Falls clay relief, handmade in silver and gold, depicting a waterfall falling through a tight vertical canyon of corporate towers, kanji signage and dense palm growth pressing in from both sides.
Where the silver edition reads wide and horizontal, this composition pulls upward, the water channelled between tall structures that compress the scene into something more urgent. The gold finish picks out the raised signage and upper architecture, silver settling into the water and vegetation below, the two tones mapping neatly onto the conflict between the built and the natural. At 10x10cm it suits a desk, narrow shelf or window ledge without requiring fixings.
The piece shares its territory with the silver Metro Falls but reads as a different view of the same city, closer in, the architecture taller, the water given less room to breathe.
An original handmade clay sculpture, one of a kind, 10x10cm.
