These flying drone AI are intended to add some unpredictable gameplay to the randomised map. Inspired by animals each has randomised metrics for speed, power, sight, etc. They detect for an actor (e.g. player or other drone) and if detected immediately start to fire line trace in the general direction.

As you can see from these concepts, I was going for a more surreal aesthetic however I could have toned down the bloom and lens effects post processing for this environment.
