FALLOW PRESS Coin [FPR I01] – Handmade Clay, Bronze/Iridescent, Limited Edition, 27mm

Description

The FALLOW PRESS handmade clay coin is a single limited edition piece finished in Bronze/Iridescent, where a dark, matte bronze surface carries a fine iridescent pigment that shifts between deep pink and teal depending on the angle of light.

The front face is pressed with five overlapping disc reliefs arranged in a radial cluster, each disc bearing its own striated texture and recessed line marks. The iridescent pigment pools into the recessed channels between and around the discs, giving the impression of something unearthed – surfaces worn smooth at the raised edges and saturated with colour in the cuts. The reverse carries the Japanese artist mark stamp pressed into the raw clay surface, with scattered iridescent pigment catching across the textured ground, less deliberate in placement and more atmospheric in effect.
