Description

This KODAMA SEAL handmade clay coin features a classic terracotta finish with deep-set charcoal accents. The piece is defined by a central Japanese hanko stamp surrounded by eight petal-like radial segments, creating a weathered botanical geometry that appears unearthed.

The obverse highlights the precision of the pressed character against a heavily textured, gritty surface. On the reverse, the clay maintains a raw, pitted character and carries the hand-engraved artist mark cut directly into the material.
