NOMAD KANJI Coin [NMD T01] – Handmade Clay, Terracotta, Limited Edition, 27mm

Description

This NOMAD KANJI handmade clay coin features a warm terracotta finish with heavy charcoal carbonization in the recesses. The aesthetic is that of a primitive artifact, where the natural clay body is weathered by dark pigments to highlight the depth of the hand-pressed relief.

The obverse is centered by a Japanese hanko stamp featuring sharp, geometric linework, framed by a series of repeating radial notches. On the reverse, the piece maintains a raw, pitted character and carries the hand-engraved artist mark cut directly into the clay.
