Description

This OBSIDIAN KANJI handmade clay coin features a rugged terracotta finish with deep charcoal carbonization. The aesthetic is one of a scorched, unearthed relic, where the earthy base tone is heavily weathered by dark surface oxidation and soot-like pigments trapped in the texture.

The obverse displays a central Japanese hanko stamp featuring sharp, geometric linework surrounded by a series of repeating radial dashes. On the reverse, the surface is characterized by a raw, pitted character and carries the hand-engraved artist mark cut directly into the clay.
