Description
Pressed from clay and finished in a copper and iridescent pigment with a strong pink shift, the PETAL MARK handmade clay coin carries a five-petal flower form across its entire front face – broad rounded lobes pressed deeply into the surface and outlined in grooves that collect the iridescent colour.
The front is fully organic in character: five lobes radiate from a shared centre, each petal form defined by a pressed groove that runs the iridescent pigment in concentrated lines of pink and teal against the dark copper-brown ground. The surface between the grooves holds the metallic base tone, with scattered iridescent flecks catching across the raised clay. The back carries the hand-engraved artist mark – compressed Japanese stamp characters pressed centrally into raw copper-brown ground, teal and pink iridescent scattered unevenly across the surface.
Supplied in Lighthouse coin capsules with acrylic display stands.
